REFUGEES WORLD EMBLEM

In gratitude to the nation of Canada for its kindness and generosity in welcoming numerous refugees and to Maestro Robert Raines for his dedication to humanitarian causes, the Refugees World Emblem, created by Her Imperial Highness Princess Thi-Nga of Vietnam, will be presented to Maestro Robert Raines, in Brampton, Ontario, Canada on November 3, 2007.

The Lotus flower known as the Imperial flower, floats above murky waters, without being stained, as it searches for the light.

It symbolizes the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity, in search for wisdom.

The Phoenix known as the symbol of a princess rises from the ashes. It represents the Refugees rising from the turmoil of their circumstances and their rebirth, in spite of the predicament of life.

The Refugees World Emblem is dedicated to all the Refugees of the World in celebration of their Strength of character, Courage and Moral Fortitude.
